Olomega SHG EP comes from the highlands of the northwestern region of Nicaragua. Significant quantities are collected and exported by Asociacion Aldea Global. This association was founded in 1992 and consisted of 22 farms. Currently, it supports over 1,000 farms in the region. The main goals of Aldea Global are to help local producers, improve the quality of the final product and increase social responsibility among the local population.
