Robusta - a type of coffee that is very different from Arabica both in taste and in the content of various substances. Robusta has almost twice as much caffeine, amino acids and chlorogenic acids compared to Arabica. Therefore, the taste of Robusta is practically devoid of sourness and has a distinct bitterness.
Robusta from Uganda is one of the best naturally processed robustas on the global coffee market. Just as Ethiopia is considered the homeland of Arabica, Uganda is considered the homeland of Robusta.
